Research Interest

Hydrovoltaic materials/devices, thermoelectric materials/devices, superwetting materials, functional elastomer and the corresponding applications in self-powering, cooling, sensing, electronic skin, anti-water coating and oil/water separation.


Dr. Weifeng Zhang has published ~45 academic papers in journals includingNat. Commun.,Adv. Mater.,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., andACS Nano, among which ~15 were published as first or corresponding author. His publications have received over 2300 citations in total with an H-index of 28. Additionally, he has authored 1 academic monograph and been granted 5 invention patents. He serves as a reviewer for journals such asACS Applied Materials & Interfaces,Materials Horizons, andEnvironmental Science & Technology.
