Research directions:
Direction 1, high-performance engineering materials for "tires" of new energy vehicles: In the face of the major demand for green, lightweight, high-performance "tire" engineering materials for new energy vehicles and the requirements of the national "3060" dual-carbon strategy. Green, lightweight and high-performance research has been carried out on rubber materials for new energy vehicle "tires", and high-performance, green, low-cost TKS rubber preparation technology has been developed. TKS rubber material with low glass transition temperature, low energy storage modulus and high bonding and stripping strength with metal was prepared, which can be used as snow tread material for new energy vehicle belt layer and passenger winter tire.
Direction 2, high-performance functional materials for "air spring" of new energy vehicles: In the face of the major demand for long-life, lightweight, green and high-performance "air spring" functional materials for new energy vehicles and the requirements of the national "3060" dual-carbon strategy, green, lightweight and high-performance rubber materials for new energy vehicles "air spring" were studied, and high-performance, green and low-cost Eucommia ulmoides gum (EUG) preparation technology was developed. The prepared EUG has the characteristics of fatigue resistance, high modulus, low heat generation and crack propagation, and can be applied to the "air spring" material of the air suspension chassis of new energy vehicles.
Direction 3: biomedical composite materials and functional devices: In the face of the country's health needs for the people, the use of EUG materials with low temperature plasticity, high impact resistance and shape memory characteristics; At the same time, the characteristics of low modulus, high elongation and high rebound of TKS rubber. Research and development of sports protective gear, disabled assistive devices, orthopedics fixed orthosis, dental root canal treatment filling and other biomedical composite materials and functional devices with improving public health and therapeutic functions.
