Dr. Yangyang Gao, is an Associate Professor at College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology.He received his B.S. degree (2011) at Beijing University of Chemical Technology and his Ph.D. degree (Supervisor: Prof. Liqun Zhang) at Beijing University of Chemical Technology (2016). He was joint educated at Technische Universität Darmstadt in Prof. Florian Müller-Plathe's group (2014-2015).
He focuses on (1) the high throughput calculations, experiments, databases, and artificial intelligence of elastic composite materials; (2) molecular design, structure, and performance research of elastic composite materials with high thermal conductivity or high conductivity; (3) molecular design, structure, and performance research of elastic composite materials with high-strength self-healing and repeatable processing; and (4) rheological properties and molecular mechanisms of elastic composite materials.
So far, he has published more than 50 peer-reviewed research articles on ACS Nano, Macromolecules, Langmuir, Journal of Physical Chemistry B/C, Soft Matter and so on. He has received the "China Rubber Technology Innovation Award" and Paper Award at the 19th China Rubber Basic Research Seminar. He serves as the Early Career Editorial Board Member of the journal Advanced Nanocomposites (KeAi Publishing founded by Elsevier and China Science Publishing).
