Research Interest: Viscoelastic composites and their applications in vibration isolation and underwater acoustics; Thermally conductive, wide-temperature-range functional elastomer composites and their applications.
Prof. Dr. Xiuying Zhao is a Full Professor at College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Chemical Technology. She received her B.S. degree (1994) at Sichuan University, M.S. degree (2001, Supervisor: Prof. Liye Zhang) and her Ph.D. degree (2008, Supervisor: Prof. Liqun Zhang) at Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
Prof. Dr. Xiuying Zhao has led over 30 national and industry-sponsored research projects, including grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Original Exploration Program, Major International Collaboration, and Youth Program) and key projects under the National Key R&D Program. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed papers such as Nano Energy, Composites Part B: Engineering, and Chemical Engineering Journal, and holds over 30 authorized invention patents. Her outstanding contributions have earned her multiple accolades, including the First Prize of Provincial/Ministerial-Level Scientific and Technological Progress Award and the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award from China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
